This relatively undeveloped region offers travellers insights into earth’s historical evolution and changes. Days 1-5: Buenos Aires - El Chalten
Our trip begins in Buenos Aires from which we travel to El Chalten at the base of the Mount Fitz Roy. We enjoy light mountain trekking and ice trekking along the shores of Lago Viedma, the remote and stunning glacier-fed lake that stretches from the base of the mountains into the Argentine pampas. |

Days 5-10: Calafate - Torres del Paine
We travel south to Calafate near the banks of the spectacular Lago Argentino, where the massive Perito Moreno Glacier comes to rest. We are lead on a private tour of the glacier and the lake that is fed by it. We then head into Chile and the renowned Parque Nacional Torres del Paine, which will be our base for several treks amongst the majestic towers, lakes and wildlife of southern Patagonia. |

Days 11-14: Puerto Natales - Punta Arenas - Buenos Aires
We leave Torres del Paine and travel to the fishing village of Puerto Natales and on to Punta Arenas, one of the southernmost cities in the world. Along the way, we will travel by river past more glaciers until we reach the fjords of the Chilean coast. |
